I’m a Commercial Lender helping small businesses, investors, entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations finance their growth and manage their cash and finances.
How many years have you been in banking?
Over 30 years.
Why do you enjoy working at BankCherokee?
I believe that it is community banking like it should be. Strong, independent, relationship based and service oriented. The employees live and work in our community. They know our customers and our neighborhoods, and that helps them provide outstanding service. BankCherokee has been doing business this way since 1908.
What organizations are you involved in?
I enjoy serving on the Board of Directors for the Midway Chamber of Commerce. It is comprised of an outstanding group of volunteers that share a common passion for our community.
What was your best vacation ever?
Sablet, France for Christmas 2011. We got the family together to celebrate the holidays in a picturesque village that dates back to medievel times.
What is your favorite activity outside of work?
Time with family and friends; bicycling, hiking, and golf; travel, especially winter getaways and long car journeys; moped rides; food and drink on Grand Avenue; dessert; Cretin-Derham Hall sports and MIAC football.
